With nearly 20 years of experience in the gaming industry, Ron was part of our preopening team at Mohegan Sun in CT where he worked as the Director of VIP Services for almost 10 years. Ron has held positions in the industry in Hotel Sales and Marketing, Revenue Management, Call Center Operations and Limousine and Butler Services. As the Director of Player Development he is responsible for the Executive Host and Casino Host teams as well as the Players Club and our Call Center. He jokes that he never sleeps, so if you ever need anything feel free to contact him at any time.

Jay comes to MSPD from his hometown of Westerly, Rhode Island. Jay was employed by Foxwoods Resort & Casino and MGM Grand at Foxwoods where he developed a broad background in the casino industry including VIP services and Marketing. Jay began his career as a Player Development Executive in 2006 and expanded to a Casino Sales Executive in 2010. His extensive experience has prepared him to make a smooth transition into our Player Development team. Jay's friendly personality and dedication to superior guest service makes him a great fit for our team!

A day one employee of Mohegan Sun in Connecticut, Patrick brings over 15 years of experience from a number of gaming markets with him in his role as Player Development Executive. It's this experience combined with his attention to detail that allows all guests, whether they're familiar with our property or visiting for the first time, get the most out of their entertainment experience with us.

David joined Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs in November, 2006 as a one day employee on the Security staff. After a few months, he transferred to the Casino Host team until Phase 2 opened when he was promoted to Executive Casino Host. In his spare time, David enjoys acting and performing in theater arts.

Anna is a new addition to our Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs family who came aboard in April of 2011. She has an extensive background in professional customer service and is a strong believer in mutual respect. Anna is fluent in three different dialects of Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin and Fuzhou Dialect). She is extremely proactive about making a difference with her innovative approach. Her positive attitude and nurturing spirit are a few reasons why we like to call her MamaCheng!

Tyler began a casino career in the Pennsylvania gaming market and came to Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs in April, 2011. He quickly fell in love with the friendly atmosphere and has not looked back since. His main focus is on the Asian market, but that does not limit him from working with domestic players. His desire to take care of all guests drove him to learn Mandarin, as well as use his knowledge of Korean and Spanish for the job. He strives to make everybody's experience at MSPD a memorable one and to make sure they leave excited for their next trip back.

Bill Amos has been an employee of Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs since November 1st, 2010. He began in Marketing as a Player's Club Representative and transferred to the Host Department in fall of 2011. Bill is a film fanatic and avid reader. He also likes attending sporting events; particularly baseball, hockey and football."

Katherine "Katie" DeRaFelo started her career at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs in Ruth's Chris Steak House where the highest standards of hospitality and guest services were instilled into her on a daily basis. Katie made her move to the Casino Host position in April, 2011. In this position, she strives every day to make each guest she encounters feel welcome, whether it be their first time here or a return visit. "Being able to interact with guests and make their day a little brighter is what makes me love coming into work," says Katie.

Wayne, a Pennsylvania State University Graduate, joined our Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs team right after he graduated college in 2008. Three and a half years later, he still continues to strive for perfection when it comes to superior guest service. His experience in marketing plays a vital role in our player development team. His dedication and passion for the job makes Wayne really stand out as an employee. "I take the time to acknowledge each and every guest, regardless of their gaming preference," says Wayne.

Born and raised in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area, Sean graduated from Penn State University in 2008. In 2010 he joined the Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs team in the Motorcoach Marketing department. In the Fall of 2011 he made the transition over to Casino Host. He constantly strives to make the visit of each guest he encounters enjoyable and fun. When asked what he likes most about being a Host, Sean said, "Being able to have more meaningful one on one interactions with each guest I see is what makes the job worth having."

Kenny Rowlands has been a member of the Mohegan Sun team since the summer of 2010, when he began in the Player's Club as a Marketing Representative. In his time with us, Kenny has not only shown excellence and great enthusiasm as a Rep, but has also elevated to Casino Host in the winter of 2011. Kenny enjoys spending time with his family, gaming and snowboarding in his spare time.
